I am a teacher/actress/production assistant looking to get back into the entertainment business after 2.5 years of being out of it. I have a Mass Communication degree (with a minor in Theatre/Speech from Middle TN State University. I have been teaching Special Education and am currently taking a break so that I can get back into the entertainment industry. I have a vast amount of experience working on the business side of the entertainment business both in Nashville, TN and Houston, TX. In Nashville, I worked in television production and at a talent agency. Currently, I work at the Alley Theatre in Houston, TX and have also worked for Theatre under the Stars. At this time, I am following my heart as an actressand would love to get into the field of casting. I live in Houston, TX but have no qualms about relocating or working in other cities.

I have a Bachelor\'s degree from Middle TN State University outside of Nashville, TN and am a few hours away from a Master\'s in Education. I was President of the International Television Association at MTSU and was also involved in television production on campus. Also, I was on the Dean\'s List my last semester at MTSU.
My interest in the entertainment/acting business began when I was 14. I started out as a singer and dancer and became interested in theatre at Deer Park High School outside of Houston. In college, my interest in the business side of entertainment peaked, so I majored in Mass Communications. After college, I worked at Theatre under the Stars and The Alley theatre in Houston. Then for some reason, I began teaching Special Education. While teaching, I assisted the Theatre teacher with various productions throughout the year. I will go back to teaching in the fall (maybe!) and also get my certification to teach theatre!

I love acting, writing, reading, dancing, listening to music, singing, aerobics, hiking, photography, traveling and hanging out with my friends and family.
